SUMMARY: Hawaii Chapter 2004 Summer Travel Meeting


Events

The 2004 Summer Travel meeting was held on Friday July 30 and Saturday August 1, at the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort and Spa at Ko'Olina on the island of Oahu.

Events included a Welcome Reception on Friday evening, and the Scientific Meeting, Residents' Research Competition Finals, a Cancer Liaison Physicians meeting and the Charles Judd Memorial Banquet on Saturday.

The 2004 Scientific Theme was Minimally Invasive Surgery and the Planning Committee consisted of Kenric Murayama, Whitney Limm, Danny Takanishi and Gary Belcher.

Members of the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses, Hawaii Chapter were invited and made a strong showing. The Queen's Medical Center, Office of Continuing Medical Education (Director: Della Lin, MD) sponsored the meeting. Five CAT 1 CME credits were available to attendees.
